Narrative:
I was working wbound departures at sector 11. I was talking to air carrier Y and the conflict alert went off between air carrier Y and aircraft X. I called the sector 10 controller and he said to turn him south; so I did; but it was too late -- we had already lost separation. If the conflict at wold have went off sooner; it would have been helpful.

Title: ZMP CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT FL210 BTWN 2 ACFT INVOLVING AN APPARENT OVERTAKE SIT WITH ANOTHER ACFT ON A DIFFERENT SECTOR.
Narrative: I WAS WORKING WBOUND DEPS AT SECTOR 11. I WAS TALKING TO ACR Y AND THE CONFLICT ALERT WENT OFF BTWN ACR Y AND ACFT X.
