Narrative:
This report is to describe an event that occurred while operating flight abc on jun/sun/05. We were cleared for takeoff on runway 14L. During the takeoff roll; I noticed an aircraft on short final to runway 22R. I thought the spacing between us seemed closer than normal; but yet I knew I would clear the intersection of runway 14L and runway 22R in sufficient time. As I was already in the high speed regime; I did not know if I could stop before the intersection. In my best judgement; the safest course of action was to continue the takeoff. As I was unaware that a separation error had occurred; I did not file a report.

Title: B737 FLT CREW DEPARTED FROM ORD RWY 14L DESCRIBED CLOSER THAN NORMAL INTERVAL FROM ARR TFC ON RWY 22R.
Narrative: THIS RPT IS TO DESCRIBE AN EVENT THAT OCCURRED WHILE OPERATING FLT ABC ON JUN/SUN/05. WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 14L. DURING THE TKOF ROLL; I NOTICED AN ACFT ON SHORT FINAL TO RWY 22R. I THOUGHT THE SPACING BTWN US SEEMED CLOSER THAN NORMAL; BUT YET I KNEW I WOULD CLR THE INTXN OF RWY 14L AND RWY 22R IN SUFFICIENT TIME. AS I WAS ALREADY IN THE HIGH SPD REGIME; I DID NOT KNOW IF I COULD STOP BEFORE THE INTXN. IN MY BEST JUDGEMENT; THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO CONTINUE THE TKOF. AS I WAS UNAWARE THAT A SEPARATION ERROR HAD OCCURRED; I DID NOT FILE A RPT.
