Narrative:
I was at ZZZ airport for a special event. This particular day was the practice for the wkend event. I had attended the pilot briefing and practiced in the box; over the airport. The box was controled by the air boss; I was in contact with him by radio. I was cleared to taxi; take off; and told the 'airspace was mine' for my practice. The airport was notamed closed and the runways were closed. The air boss had an assistant monitoring the unicom frequency and making periodic announcements that the airport was closed. At 2 mins into my practice; a C182 flew into the box heading northwest at 950 ft AGL. I was descending and flying the opposite direction. When I saw the cessna; I rolled right and pulled at 4-5 G's in avoiding a collision. The aircraft was told (on unicom frequency) to hold outside the airspace and was later cleared in to land. The pilot evidently did not check NOTAMS and did not announce on unicom; according to the air boss.
