Narrative:
Flying from ptk to 3HE to practice slips for landing, I ran off the side of runway 13. The wind was cross 20 KTS gusting 25 KTS. Runway 13 slopes downhill, the runway was sloping away and I was drifting left of center. There was snow off the side of the runway and my left main hit the snow and sucked me in it enough to shut down my engines and have a tug pull me out. There was no damage to runway, taxi lights or my plane. Next time I practice slips to land I will do it at an airport with a long wide runway as well as level runway. I should have been more aggressive with letting out left rudder.
