Narrative:
While working in the hangar on my shift; I received an aircraft on ground request from the storeroom line; terminal satellite. I immediately found; pulled; and sent the part. The stock clerk in the parts room issued this part to aircraft X. Maintenance received and installed the part. Nobody; including me; rechked the paperwork. Maintenance discovered the error after the aircraft left for its destination. They then filled out the paperwork to correct the situation. The company needs to improve the receiving process. The part I found should not have been there because it was not inspected. We are obliged to work in haste. We are short of personnel. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the parts store room is operating short handed and everything has sped up and people in stores and on the line are being pushed. This part should have been inspected and signed off as svcable but was not.
