Narrative:

We departure teb runway 24 following the teb 5 departure. Immediately after liftoff; my co-pilot called out birds ahead and to the right. I called in sight and turned slightly left to avoid a bird strike. As we leveled off at 1500 ft; departure cleared us to heading 280 degrees and maintain 1500 ft. Two controllers later; we were asked to copy a number and call when we get on the ground. I called and explained the situation and the controller said that they hadn't had any deviations on the departure due to birds and would pass the report on to the manager. Avoid problems in the future by broadcasting any deviations for any reason.
