Narrative:
Departing to the north at sea; crew thought clearance read 'mountain departure;' begun right turn to 070 degrees. Controller asks what departure we were assigned. We stated the 'mountain departure.' we then were told to turn left to a heading of 360 degrees. No conflict or further statement from controller. Upon review of our pre departure clearance on page 2; we were assigned the SEA3 departure. Contributing factors: long duty day; 4 legs; fatigue; previous night's departure for cyyc; we were assigned the mountain departure.
