Narrative:
I was assigned job card xyzx. Identifies and corrects paint chips left wing trailing edge. Went into cabin; was going to go out left wing exit door. Removed wing exit door and heard slide deploy (slide was not disarmed). Have not had slide deployment avoidance training.

Narrative: I WAS ASSIGNED JOB CARD XYZX. IDENTIFIES AND CORRECTS PAINT CHIPS L WING TRAILING EDGE. WENT INTO CABIN; WAS GOING TO GO OUT L WING EXIT DOOR. REMOVED WING EXIT DOOR AND HEARD SLIDE DEPLOY (SLIDE WAS NOT DISARMED). HAVE NOT HAD SLIDE DEPLOYMENT AVOIDANCE TRAINING.
