Narrative:
I was assigned to #2 engine that had the thrust reversers locked out because the thrust reverser sleeve slides were missing hardware. 2 other mechanics and I began the removal of the thrust reverser sleeves and were told to hold off because of hardware was not in stock. At XA20 we had received the hardware from air carrier X and were told to continue with task. I removed 2 center cascades on inboard and outboard sides. Disconnected blocker doors and left hardware in the blocker doors to retain bushings. I then taped down all blocker doors to keep them from flapping around during right&right. The thrust reversers were then removed and hardware replaced on the sleeve slides. The outboard sleeve was fixed first and reinstalled on the engine. I reconnected all blocker doors with original hardware; installed 2 cascades; reconnected actuators and operations checked outboard thrust reverser. I am not sure who installed inboard and operations checked it.

Title: B737-300 WAS DISPATCHED WITH #2 ENG THRUST REVERSER INBOARD BLOCKER DOORS NOT CONNECTED.
Narrative: I WAS ASSIGNED TO #2 ENG THAT HAD THE THRUST REVERSERS LOCKED OUT BECAUSE THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE SLIDES WERE MISSING HARDWARE. 2 OTHER MECHS AND I BEGAN THE REMOVAL OF THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES AND WERE TOLD TO HOLD OFF BECAUSE OF HARDWARE WAS NOT IN STOCK. AT XA20 WE HAD RECEIVED THE HARDWARE FROM ACR X AND WERE TOLD TO CONTINUE WITH TASK. I REMOVED 2 CTR CASCADES ON INBOARD AND OUTBOARD SIDES. DISCONNECTED BLOCKER DOORS AND LEFT HARDWARE IN THE BLOCKER DOORS TO RETAIN BUSHINGS. I THEN TAPED DOWN ALL BLOCKER DOORS TO KEEP THEM FROM FLAPPING AROUND DURING R&R. THE THRUST REVERSERS WERE THEN REMOVED AND HARDWARE REPLACED ON THE SLEEVE SLIDES. THE OUTBOARD SLEEVE WAS FIXED FIRST AND REINSTALLED ON THE ENG. I RECONNECTED ALL BLOCKER DOORS WITH ORIGINAL HARDWARE; INSTALLED 2 CASCADES; RECONNECTED ACTUATORS AND OPS CHKED OUTBOARD THRUST REVERSER. I AM NOT SURE WHO INSTALLED INBOARD AND OPS CHKED IT.
