Narrative:
Aircraft X inbound to dtw handed off from ZID. After heading; asked d-side to get a pointout with ZID low. I thought the pointout was made and descended aircraft X. After being relieved from position; I was advised that there was an operational error in ZID with aircraft Y because of the clearance to FL180.
