Narrative:
Initial delay in obtaining final weights; lost our takeoff slot because of delay. When we finally received the weights we took off uneventfully. About 10 minutes after takeoff we received an ACARS message saying 'ramp has advised me they need to correct their final loading figures; please stand by for revised weights.' a few minutes later we received a revised manifest that was significantly different than the one we used for takeoff. This is a safety concern because we departed with incorrect data. We later received another ACARS stating 'plz use #2 manifest due to adj tks.' we used the revised numbers for landing obviously but it was too late for the takeoff. How can ramp send out incorrect data about aircraft loading? This problem needs to be addressed before it causes an accident.
