Narrative:
During pushback our tug driver was unable to keep the aircraft on the center line during pushback out of the alleyway from gate at bwi. At one point the driver stopped the push to get his bearings and I told him I would shut down #2 if he needed to pull us forward to get back on the line. He said he would get it but at times we went from the left wing an estimated 8 ft from the wall on our left to 5 to 6 ft right of centerline. We had a wing walker who was closely monitoring the left side. The first officer was monitoring the right side closely and there were no aircraft parked at the gates there. I have probably been pushed out of that alley 3 to 4 time now and have had south turns on every one. We may need more pushback training there and/or a wing walker on the right wing.

THE FO WAS MONITORING THE R SIDE CLOSELY AND THERE WERE NO ACFT PARKED AT THE GATES THERE. I HAVE PROBABLY BEEN PUSHED OUT OF THAT ALLEY 3 TO 4 TIME NOW AND HAVE HAD S TURNS ON EVERY ONE. WE MAY NEED MORE PUSHBACK TRAINING THERE AND/OR A WING WALKER ON THE R WING.
