Narrative:
Baggage cart driver drove in front of my taxiing aircraft. Stopped aircraft. If I had not stopped; driver would have caused a significant ground accident. Even after I stopped my aircraft; the driver appeared oblivious to the events which just occurred. The action put the driver as well as my aircraft and passenger in jeopardy.

Title: AN A320 CAPT AVOIDED COLLIDING WITH A BAGGAGE CART BY STOPPING ACFT.
Narrative: BAGGAGE CART DRIVER DROVE IN FRONT OF MY TAXIING ACFT. STOPPED ACFT. IF I HAD NOT STOPPED; DRIVER WOULD HAVE CAUSED A SIGNIFICANT GND ACCIDENT. EVEN AFTER I STOPPED MY ACFT; THE DRIVER APPEARED OBLIVIOUS TO THE EVENTS WHICH JUST OCCURRED. THE ACTION PUT THE DRIVER AS WELL AS MY ACFT AND PAX IN JEOPARDY.
