Narrative:
New airplane. Cannot rely on parking brake to hold aircraft (pilatus) at ground idle. Moved ahead about 15 ft until noticed by us and guide. Used to airline jets with parking brakes that hold aircraft. Lesson learned. Although pilatus pc-12 is very advanced and full of EFIS; etc; the parking brake is not as advanced; will assume toe brakes are applied.
