Narrative:
Every day now at the center; supervisors are combining position because we don't have the staffing to open the position. They are putting the controllers in a bad spot; and very unsafe situation; and putting all of the lives in the airplanes in an unsafe situation. I believe this is only going to get worse if something isn't done real soon. All supervisors are putting it all on the controllers to do this. We tell them we don't want to work these sectors combined and we have to do it anyway because we don't have the staffing. They're not allowed to call in overtime to help out. So we are putting the flying public in a very unsafe situation day in and day out. I believe this could lead to one of the biggest crashes some day. I don't want to be the one working when it does happen.

Title: ZID CTLR EXPRESSED CONCERN REGARDING LACK OF FACILITY STAFFING AND UNWILLINGNESS TO CALL OVERTIME; RESULTING IN COMBINING OF SECTORS.
Narrative: EVERY DAY NOW AT THE CTR; SUPVRS ARE COMBINING POS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE STAFFING TO OPEN THE POS. THEY ARE PUTTING THE CTLRS IN A BAD SPOT; AND VERY UNSAFE SITUATION; AND PUTTING ALL OF THE LIVES IN THE AIRPLANES IN AN UNSAFE SITUATION. I BELIEVE THIS IS ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE IF SOMETHING ISN'T DONE REAL SOON. ALL SUPVRS ARE PUTTING IT ALL ON THE CTLRS TO DO THIS.
