Narrative:
We arrived at the lead-in line for the gate and waited at the top of the line for the ramp crew to assemble and the accu-park to be illuminated. We conducted a scan of the area for encroaching equipment and found it to be clear. Once the accu-park was turned on; we began a slow taxi on 1 engine to the gate. About 30 yards from the parking spot; we noticed the employee bus traveling from our right to left. It appeared to arc in front of the aircraft as it pulled in front of us and disappeared to our left into the night. It was a full-sized bus traveling at about 30 mph by my estimation and the bus as it turned was noticeably leaning due to the speed and turn arc. We came to a stop to watch this and then proceeded to an uneventful parking. We called zone and let them know of the incident. We had come to a stop at the beginning of the lead-in line and we did not 'surprise' the driver or cut him off with any unsuspected movements or speed of taxi. This was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for on the bus driver's part.

Title: EMPLOYEE BUS FAILS TO STOP AT IT CROSSES PATH OF B777 APCHING THE GATE.
Narrative: WE ARRIVED AT THE LEAD-IN LINE FOR THE GATE AND WAITED AT THE TOP OF THE LINE FOR THE RAMP CREW TO ASSEMBLE AND THE ACCU-PARK TO BE ILLUMINATED. WE CONDUCTED A SCAN OF THE AREA FOR ENCROACHING EQUIP AND FOUND IT TO BE CLR. ONCE THE ACCU-PARK WAS TURNED ON; WE BEGAN A SLOW TAXI ON 1 ENG TO THE GATE. ABOUT 30 YARDS FROM THE PARKING SPOT; WE NOTICED THE EMPLOYEE BUS TRAVELING FROM OUR R TO L. IT APPEARED TO ARC IN FRONT OF THE ACFT AS IT PULLED IN FRONT OF US AND DISAPPEARED TO OUR L INTO THE NIGHT. IT WAS A FULL-SIZED BUS TRAVELING AT ABOUT 30 MPH BY MY ESTIMATION AND THE BUS AS IT TURNED WAS NOTICEABLY LEANING DUE TO THE SPD AND TURN ARC. WE CAME TO A STOP TO WATCH THIS AND THEN PROCEEDED TO AN UNEVENTFUL PARKING. WE CALLED ZONE AND LET THEM KNOW OF THE INCIDENT. WE HAD COME TO A STOP AT THE BEGINNING OF THE LEAD-IN LINE AND WE DID NOT 'SURPRISE' THE DRIVER OR CUT HIM OFF WITH ANY UNSUSPECTED MOVEMENTS OR SPD OF TAXI. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND UNCALLED FOR ON THE BUS DRIVER'S PART.
