Narrative:
Aircraft needed an IRU at position #1. I changed the IRU. To change the IRU; an air data computer pitot connection must be removed. After checking the IRU install and fix; I closed the east&east door without checking the pitot connection or checking air data computer operation.

Title: A B737-300 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE R ADC PITOT INPUT LINE NOT CONNECTED. CAUSED BY MAINT ACTION IN REPLACING IRU.
Narrative: ACFT NEEDED AN IRU AT POS #1. I CHANGED THE IRU. TO CHANGE THE IRU; AN ADC PITOT CONNECTION MUST BE REMOVED. AFTER CHKING THE IRU INSTALL AND FIX; I CLOSED THE E&E DOOR WITHOUT CHKING THE PITOT CONNECTION OR CHKING ADC OP.
