Narrative:
After landing on runway 30R and parking at gate; deadheading first officer said an access panel on top of right engine pylon had come off after landing. I called ground control to advise and have them inspect the runway 30R. Maintenance was called and a logbook entry made.

Title: A B737-400 ON LNDG HAD A R ENG PYLON PANEL DEPART THE ACFT. RPTED BY DEADHEADING PLT SITTING IN CABIN.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 30R AND PARKING AT GATE; DEADHEADING FO SAID AN ACCESS PANEL ON TOP OF R ENG PYLON HAD COME OFF AFTER LNDG. I CALLED GND CTL TO ADVISE AND HAVE THEM INSPECT THE RWY 30R. MAINT WAS CALLED AND A LOGBOOK ENTRY MADE.
