Narrative:
After a long wait to load up baggage on outbound flight; we proceeded to a normal takeoff. We received final weight count as we approached the runway hold short line. We entered the weights into the FMC; set trim; finished the before takeoff checklist and performed the uneventful takeoff. Approximately 2 mins after takeoff; we received an ACARS message stating that ramp was changing the baggage numbers and we should stand by. We received new numbers about 5-10 mins later showing us 1500 pounds lighter with a very slight trim change. We had final numbers when we took off. They were readjusted after our departure due to an incorrect count of which bags were loaded.
