Narrative:
I was working sector 9 on the morning of nov/wed/05. I had a situation with 2 aircraft. At approximately XA51Z I received 4 xfers from tyo approach control; of which both air carrier Y and air carrier X were among said xfers. Air carrier X was xferred at FL350 and air carrier Y was xferred at FL390. At approximately XB36; air carrier X entered ZOA airspace. At approximately XB42 air carrier X requested FL380. At approximately XB45; I issued air carrier X a restr to climb to reach FL380 by XB55. At approximately XB47 air carrier Y entered ZOA airspace. At approximately XB47 tyo called to tell me air carrier Y was actually at FL370; not FL390. I realized that I had a problem and told the tyo controller I would call him back. I checked to see that the aircraft were approximately 2 mins 30 seconds apart; and called for assistance from both supervisors and subject matter experts. At approximately XB48 I called comrdo to tell air carrier Y about traffic climbing through his altitude. While on the line; I noticed that air carrier X had leveled at FL380. At that time the conflict was resolved.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING SECTOR 9 ON THE MORNING OF NOV/WED/05. I HAD A SITUATION WITH 2 ACFT. AT APPROX XA51Z I RECEIVED 4 XFERS FROM TYO APCH CTL; OF WHICH BOTH ACR Y AND ACR X WERE AMONG SAID XFERS. ACR X WAS XFERRED AT FL350 AND ACR Y WAS XFERRED AT FL390. AT APPROX XB36; ACR X ENTERED ZOA AIRSPACE. AT APPROX XB42 ACR X REQUESTED FL380. AT APPROX XB45; I ISSUED ACR X A RESTR TO CLB TO REACH FL380 BY XB55. AT APPROX XB47 ACR Y ENTERED ZOA AIRSPACE. AT APPROX XB47 TYO CALLED TO TELL ME ACR Y WAS ACTUALLY AT FL370; NOT FL390. I REALIZED THAT I HAD A PROB AND TOLD THE TYO CTLR I WOULD CALL HIM BACK. I CHKED TO SEE THAT THE ACFT WERE APPROX 2 MINS 30 SECONDS APART; AND CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE FROM BOTH SUPVRS AND SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS. AT APPROX XB48 I CALLED COMRDO TO TELL ACR Y ABOUT TFC CLBING THROUGH HIS ALT. WHILE ON THE LINE; I NOTICED THAT ACR X HAD LEVELED AT FL380. AT THAT TIME THE CONFLICT WAS RESOLVED.
