Narrative:
Taxiing in to gate for parking; we were marshaled by the lead marshaller into a parked tug. There were 2 wing walkers on the port side and a lead marshaller. The wing walker maintained that he told the lead to have us stop; but we were never signaled to that effect. Damage was sustained to the leading edge and lens cover of the wing. The windshield was broken out of the tug. When marshaller finally had us stop; it was too late. We did stop immediately; however. After arrival of the chief pilot and 2 head ramp personnel; we were told that we had 'no culpability' in the matter. The ramp men said that not only was the marshaller new; but it was our responsibility to follow the signals. We did follow signals by the marshaller completely.
