Narrative:
At the gate in ZZZ after flight; left main outboard tire and rim missing. Taxi; takeoff; and landing were all normal. Hgs used for takeoff and landing. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the wheels and tires looked ok during the preflight inspection. The takeoff was using the heads up display and the nosewheels were right on the runway centerline and the nose gear had a lot of shaking. Nothing unusual was noted on the landing. Reporter indicated maintenance has not advised the flight crew of the maintenance action taken and probable cause of the incident.
