Narrative:
Aircraft #1 and aircraft #2 were on downwind vectors to airport for a visual approach. Aircraft #1 was pointed out to aircraft #2 and pilot told me he had him in sight. I continued vectors for visual approach and cleared aircraft #2 for visual approach at appropriate time. Facility evaluation took place the following week. During a random replay of this event; the evaluation team thought that an error had occurred.
