Narrative:
Upon disengaging the autoplt at 1000 ft AGL on approach to runway 16L ZZZ; the elevator seemed unusually heavy. The lca; PNF; felt the controls and agreed that they were indeed heavy. We landed uneventfully and during taxi noted heavy elevator forces. Maintenance advised and defect entered in ACARS along with briefing the mechanic. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the maintenance action taken is unknown.
