Narrative:
Put gear lever down; got 2 green main lights and unlock light. Tried to recycle the lever; but it would not come out of down position. Pulled nose gear unlatch handle; with no change. Pulled gear blow-down knob and discharged bottle pressure; with no change to indicated gear position. Landed on runway 8; mains touched; nose of aircraft contacted runway. Aircraft stopped on centerline; nose resting on gear doors. No injuries. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the problem was the failure of the nose landing gear down and lock microswitch which pwred the landing gear control handle solenoid to the down position. The manual override did not operate and the landing gear remained partially down. The nose landing gear doors incurred damage and both nose tires were blown.
