Narrative:
Several minutes after passing soldo intersection on the SOLDO2 RNAV departure; center told us we were south of course. They cleared us to turn left and 30 seconds later; they cleared us direct eld. There was no conflict with any other aircraft. We checked the box and found that the transition from soldo to mei was not in the FMS. It was flying direct from soldo to mei. I am sure I loaded it correctly; but when I checked the box on preflight; there was a discontinuity. When I cleaned it up it must have deleted the two fixes between soldo and mei. I checked the first portion of the departure two more times as directed by checklist procedures; but did not notice the deletion of two waypoints between soldo and mei. The mechl; mavvs; soldo was flown precisely including the speed restrictions. It was only after soldo that the problem occurred.
