Narrative:
Captain flying from base leg to final course runway 25L at phx. During turn to final; a light caught my eye to the left. The light was deep green and was pointed at the aircraft. I glanced at the light for a second and then told the first officer and the check airman on the jumpseat that there was a laser shining into the cockpit and to beware. All 3 cockpit crew members saw the light and we promptly reported it to the tower. An uneventful landing was made and we taxied to the gate.
