Narrative:
Takeoff with incorrect weights. Received final weights and took off on runway 7. During climb; received ACARS message from load planning stating the following; 'sorry for the delay and to add to the insult; ramp showed 38 bags as 38 pounds of freight; correct weights to follow.' new weights showed an increase of 1102 pounds to the zero fuel weight and a 1.1% difference. Several calls to operations on the ground informed us that their scanner was broken and they were manually calculating the weights. The new weight was entered into the fuel predict page in the mcdu for correct landing vapp/vls speeds.
