Narrative:
After pushback and engines started; we called for taxi. Prior to taxi; a baggage handler motioned to put on last min baggage. We noted engines had not completed warm-up cycle. And before we knew it; the forward cargo door opened and closed in a matter of seconds. I notified tpa operations and reported the incident to them. We should have shut down the right engine. Communication was not clearly established with the baggage handler. I was surprised the door opened so quickly. Lesson learned; shut down the right engine regardless of warm up time.
