Narrative:

During cruise; flight attendants advised a passenger was unconscious; receiving oxygen and being administered to by a physician. A call was made to dispatch; along with physician on call. Passenger appeared to have had a heart attack/stroke with paralysis. Both doctors agreed that the patient should be hospitalized as soon as possible. The decision was made to divert to ZZZ1. We declared an emergency; diverted ZZZ1. A normal landing was made. Passenger was taken via ambulance to hospital.

Title: B777 FLT CREW HAS ILL PAX. FLT CREW ELECTS TO DIVERT; DECLARES EMER AND LANDS.

Narrative: DURING CRUISE; FLT ATTENDANTS ADVISED A PAX WAS UNCONSCIOUS; RECEIVING OXYGEN AND BEING ADMINISTERED TO BY A PHYSICIAN. A CALL WAS MADE TO DISPATCH; ALONG WITH PHYSICIAN ON CALL. PAX APPEARED TO HAVE HAD A HEART ATTACK/STROKE WITH PARALYSIS. BOTH DOCTORS AGREED THAT THE PATIENT SHOULD BE HOSPITALIZED ASAP. THE DECISION WAS MADE TO DIVERT TO ZZZ1. WE DECLARED AN EMER; DIVERTED ZZZ1. A NORMAL LNDG WAS MADE. PAX WAS TAKEN VIA AMBULANCE TO HOSPITAL.
