Narrative:
One set of charts onboard. Captain very familiar with teb. Captain said (about SID) I'll talk you through it and had only chart. Captain said climb runway heading to 1500 ft turn to 280 degrees and continue climb to 2000 ft. I asked if we should level at 1500 ft till fix -- he said no this one is different. On departure radar said return to 1500 ft at about 1800 ft. We complied promptly. No conflict reported. Reread chart. Supplemental information from acn 690579: we climbed above 1500 ft prior to the fix.
