Narrative:
On climb out after takeoff power reduction at approximately 3000 ft; upper ECAM indicated engine #1 stall. Captain felt slight increase in power before indication. All flight and power indications appeared normal to me. Contacted maintenance and dispatch and decided to return to ord. Normal overweight landing on runway 27L.
