Narrative:
On the evening of mon/apr/06 I was assigned to perform the following task cards on gear lube work cards and service check work cards. I completed these work cards as required. On the morning of apr/tue/06; aircraft X did an air turn-back for a flight control issue. When the aircraft return to station; a rag was discovered on the r-hand wing outboard flap transmission jackscrew. Being I was involved with the overnight maintenance of this aircraft; I am reporting this for the reason that I was not involved with the accomplishment of the flap lube work cards mentioned above.
