Narrative:
Climbing out of ont on the pomona 6 departure; there is a hold down at pom at 8000 ft. I forget to set that in the window and flew through the altitude. Crossed pom at 9000 ft and controller questioned the clearance after crossing pom about 5 mi to the northwest and wondered if we had been given a different clearance without the restr. We stated no and it was our fault. Controller then stated he wasn't telling anything about it. The altitude restr was marked on SID; on legs page; and on the map. I just completely missed it. I even felt I was seeing something; but kept looking at the bucck above 14000 ft and thought that was it. Issuing clrncs with that hold down would solve most problems. A LNAV climb also would have leveled us off at 8000 ft.
