Cabin log discrepancy detail reads 34L will not recline. Corrective action: checked seat 34L recline; found operating ok. No faults noted. FAA inspector noted this write-up as airworthiness item requiring xfer to main logbook. Item not xferred due seat back write-up was noted as stuck in upright position. Per cabin logbook guidelines form M&east. According to guideline xferring to aircraft logbook only required if seat back will not stay locked in the upright position.
