Narrative:
Captain was taxiing out for takeoff for runway 17R at den. Aircraft was holding short at position 4E; and had just received clearance to taxi to runway 17R via taxiway M. Captain released brakes and commenced taxi with the taxi light on to indicate movement. 2 trucks; one an airport operations suv and the other a contractor's van saw the aircraft moving; yet chose to ignore their stop sign as they were traveling north and attempted to outrace the aircraft. Captain was forced to immediately make an emergency stop to avoid hitting the trucks. The purser was sitting; but the 2 aft flight attendants were standing and were thrown against the rear galley carts. They were shaken; but uninjured. Captain reported the incident to ground control; who stated they would investigate. Flight continued without incident to smf.

Title: A319 FLT CREW WHILE TAXIING FOR TKOF ENCOUNTERS 2 VEHICLES AND IS FORCED TO STOP ABRUPTLY. TWR IS ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT STOP FOR THE ACFT.
Narrative: CAPT WAS TAXIING OUT FOR TKOF FOR RWY 17R AT DEN. ACFT WAS HOLDING SHORT AT POS 4E; AND HAD JUST RECEIVED CLRNC TO TAXI TO RWY 17R VIA TXWY M. CAPT RELEASED BRAKES AND COMMENCED TAXI WITH THE TAXI LIGHT ON TO INDICATE MOVEMENT. 2 TRUCKS; ONE AN ARPT OPS SUV AND THE OTHER A CONTRACTOR'S VAN SAW THE ACFT MOVING; YET CHOSE TO IGNORE THEIR STOP SIGN AS THEY WERE TRAVELING N AND ATTEMPTED TO OUTRACE THE ACFT. CAPT WAS FORCED TO IMMEDIATELY MAKE AN EMER STOP TO AVOID HITTING THE TRUCKS. THE PURSER WAS SITTING; BUT THE 2 AFT FLT ATTENDANTS WERE STANDING AND WERE THROWN AGAINST THE REAR GALLEY CARTS.
