Narrative:

Climbing out; encountered icing during climb out. Some amber indications on vibration #1 engine. After getting on top and out of icing anti-ice was shut off. Could not get vibrations to stop. Tried QRH checklist to no avail. Vibrations could be felt in aircraft. Instead of getting better; vibrations go worse. 3.2 on amber scale. Could not get vibrations to stop except at 70% or less N1. After several minutes I decided to land. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the maintenance action taken at the diversion station is unknown other than the airplane was taken out of service.
