Narrative:
Departed for a 36 NM local flight to ego. Within 10 mi of ego; announced intent on CTAF to land at ego with runway 2 favored. When field in sight at 5 NM; a radio advice came from a jump plane that he was on taxiway to runway 2. I acknowledged that he was in sight and could depart ahead of my arrival. While I was being alert to possible jump activity; another aircraft; a helicopter; announced a 1 mi north position intending a midfield arrival. By this time I advised ego traffic I was on a 3 mi final to runway 2 for a full stop and having to lose altitude with full flaps. Looking intently for jumpers; departing aircraft; arriving helicopter; configured my aircraft propeller; mixture control; boost pump; airspeed; altitude; and position over the centerline; the plane was ready for a normal landing; except the pilot left the gear in up position in error. Propeller and metal grinding sounds on the asphalt runway made my day!

WHILE I WAS BEING ALERT TO POSSIBLE JUMP ACTIVITY; ANOTHER ACFT; A HELI; ANNOUNCED A 1 MI N POS INTENDING A MIDFIELD ARR. BY THIS TIME I ADVISED EGO TFC I WAS ON A 3 MI FINAL TO RWY 2 FOR A FULL STOP AND HAVING TO LOSE ALT WITH FULL FLAPS. LOOKING INTENTLY FOR JUMPERS; DEPARTING ACFT; ARRIVING HELI; CONFIGURED MY ACFT PROP; MIXTURE CTL; BOOST PUMP; AIRSPD; ALT; AND POS OVER THE CTRLINE; THE PLANE WAS READY FOR A NORMAL LNDG; EXCEPT THE PLT LEFT THE GEAR IN UP POS IN ERROR. PROP AND METAL GRINDING SOUNDS ON THE ASPHALT RWY MADE MY DAY!
