Narrative:
Aircraft arrived in ZZZ from ZZZ1 on flight at XA35. On preflight; the new crew found and wrote up an oil leak on #1 engine. Maintenance was called and upon inspection found oil leaking from the starter generator garlock and the area near the angle gear box breather tube assembly. Further inspection revealed the breather tube not installed correctly. The angle gear box has 2 studs that go through a flange on the breather tube and the tube is secured by 2 nuts. On this engine the top mounting point was secured properly but at the bottom mounting point the stud on the angle gear box was not going through the hole and was outside of the mounting flange. The outside edge of the mounting flange was up against the side of the lower stud and its respective nut was tightened down on a small portion of the flange.
