Narrative:
On jun/sun/06; while landing a BE18. After landing and slowing down; the aircraft started drifting to the left. Realizing that with full right rudder and brake that I was not going to stop the drift; I let the aircraft exit the runway into the grass between the runway and the taxiway; after stopping I unlocked the tailwheel and taxied to parking. While this was very embarrassing no damage occurred to the aircraft; property; occupants or persons on the ground. Inspection of the aircraft by a mechanic determined that the left brake was dragging and the disc was pitted; replaced brake disc and pads; taxi test showed no indication of left turning.
