Narrative:
I started working final on a southwest flow (runway 22L/27L) running visual approachs to runway 27L. We later changed to a west confign (runway 27L/27L); where I was running visual approachs to runway 27R. I issued traffic landing runway 27L to my aircraft on the visual approach to runway 27R then inadvertently cleared the next aircraft for a visual approach to runway 27L. When I noticed the aircraft going through the runway 27R final; I immediately turned and descended him to get him away from runway 27L traffic. Separation was lost with traffic on the runway 27L final.

Title: DTW CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT 4300 FT DURING SIMULTANEOUS APCHS TO RWYS 27L-R WHEN VISUAL APCH CLRNC WAS ISSUED TO WRONG RWY.
Narrative: I STARTED WORKING FINAL ON A SW FLOW (RWY 22L/27L) RUNNING VISUAL APCHS TO RWY 27L. WE LATER CHANGED TO A W CONFIGN (RWY 27L/27L); WHERE I WAS RUNNING VISUAL APCHS TO RWY 27R. I ISSUED TFC LNDG RWY 27L TO MY ACFT ON THE VISUAL APCH TO RWY 27R THEN INADVERTENTLY CLRED THE NEXT ACFT FOR A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 27L. WHEN I NOTICED THE ACFT GOING THROUGH THE RWY 27R FINAL; I IMMEDIATELY TURNED AND DSNDED HIM TO GET HIM AWAY FROM RWY 27L TFC. SEPARATION WAS LOST WITH TFC ON THE RWY 27L FINAL.
