Narrative:
Aircraft parked at FBO at sjc. Loaded passenger. Shut the door and performed pre engine start checklist; including setting the parking brake. Started right and left engine from gpu power; both engines were started in 'feather.' when both engines were brought out of 'feather' the parking brake failed to hold aircraft in position. Aircraft moved forward and hit gpu before I could apply brakes. Note that gpu was positioned forward of main wing as the BE2000 is a 'canard.' nobody was injured and aircraft damage was minor. The event serves as a reminder never to trust the parking brake.
