Narrative:

Rudder trim stuck at 2 units left. Noticed at start of descent. Had to hold right rudder on final. Still inoperative on taxi in. At gate it began to work again. Frozen water? Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that when parked on the gate the rudder trim worked normally. The rudder trim was reported in the logbook and a verbal report given to maintenance. The maintenance action is unknown.

Title: A B757-200 AT FL340 ON START OF DSCNT HAS THE RUDDER TRIM STUCK AT 2 UNITS L. THE TRIM WAS STILL STUCK ON TAXI IN AND STARTED TO WORK AT THE GATE.

Narrative: RUDDER TRIM STUCK AT 2 UNITS L. NOTICED AT START OF DSCNT. HAD TO HOLD R RUDDER ON FINAL. STILL INOP ON TAXI IN. AT GATE IT BEGAN TO WORK AGAIN. FROZEN WATER? CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT WHEN PARKED ON THE GATE THE RUDDER TRIM WORKED NORMALLY. THE RUDDER TRIM WAS RPTED IN THE LOGBOOK AND A VERBAL RPT GIVEN TO MAINT. THE MAINT ACTION IS UNKNOWN.
