Narrative:
On jul/xa/06; at XA10 am CDT; we departed new orleans lakefront airport (new) on a business trip to atlanta; GA; dekalb/peachtree airport (pdk) with 1 passenger. The flight was conducted under IFR regulations with the route as follows. New mgm lgc.MIKEE4 pdk. We were cleared to FL290 and the flight progressed normally. On the MIKEE4 arrival and after passing arnco intersection; we were assigned a 360 degree heading and cleared to 7000 ft MSL and subsequently 5000 ft MSL. Approach then gave us a heading of 040 degrees and requested our indicated airspeed which we announced as 240 KTS. The controller advised us that we had been below the class B airspace for some time and our airspeed should be 200 KTS. We responded and reduced our airspeed immediately. We were then xferred to another controller; given a vector of 090 degrees and a descent to 3000 ft MSL for the visual. The airport was in sight and a normal landing accomplished. At the time the controller advised us of the speed excursion; I believed that we were still located in the class B airspace and being given vectors to pdk.

Title: CE550 CREW ARRIVING PDK ON MIKEE 4 EXCEED THE SPD LIMIT BELOW CLASS B AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ON JUL/XA/06; AT XA10 AM CDT; WE DEPARTED NEW ORLEANS LAKEFRONT ARPT (NEW) ON A BUSINESS TRIP TO ATLANTA; GA; DEKALB/PEACHTREE ARPT (PDK) WITH 1 PAX. THE FLT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER IFR REGS WITH THE RTE AS FOLLOWS. NEW MGM LGC.MIKEE4 PDK. WE WERE CLRED TO FL290 AND THE FLT PROGRESSED NORMALLY. ON THE MIKEE4 ARR AND AFTER PASSING ARNCO INTXN; WE WERE ASSIGNED A 360 DEG HDG AND CLRED TO 7000 FT MSL AND SUBSEQUENTLY 5000 FT MSL. APCH THEN GAVE US A HDG OF 040 DEGS AND REQUESTED OUR INDICATED AIRSPD WHICH WE ANNOUNCED AS 240 KTS. THE CTLR ADVISED US THAT WE HAD BEEN BELOW THE CLASS B AIRSPACE FOR SOME TIME AND OUR AIRSPD SHOULD BE 200 KTS. WE RESPONDED AND REDUCED OUR AIRSPD IMMEDIATELY. WE WERE THEN XFERRED TO ANOTHER CTLR; GIVEN A VECTOR OF 090 DEGS AND A DSCNT TO 3000 FT MSL FOR THE VISUAL. THE ARPT WAS IN SIGHT AND A NORMAL LNDG ACCOMPLISHED. AT THE TIME THE CTLR ADVISED US OF THE SPD EXCURSION; I BELIEVED THAT WE WERE STILL LOCATED IN THE CLASS B AIRSPACE AND BEING GIVEN VECTORS TO PDK.
