Narrative:
On arrival into sna; original routing kept us clear of lax class B airspace until close to shoreline. Approach control vectored us off of planned route; resulting in flying under lax airspace earlier than planned. Not sure where limits of class B airspace were; we began slowing; just as approach control informed us that we were 'operating under the los angeles class B airspace.' we continued to slow; nothing else was said.

Narrative: ON ARR INTO SNA; ORIGINAL ROUTING KEPT US CLR OF LAX CLASS B AIRSPACE UNTIL CLOSE TO SHORELINE. APCH CTL VECTORED US OFF OF PLANNED RTE; RESULTING IN FLYING UNDER LAX AIRSPACE EARLIER THAN PLANNED. NOT SURE WHERE LIMITS OF CLASS B AIRSPACE WERE; WE BEGAN SLOWING; JUST AS APCH CTL INFORMED US THAT WE WERE 'OPERATING UNDER THE LOS ANGELES CLASS B AIRSPACE.' WE CONTINUED TO SLOW; NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID.
