Narrative:
On a vectored climb; we were deviating around thunderstorm cells with high precipitation. We went between 2 cells using our WX radar. We encountered a severe updraft that climbed us 2000 ft in 40 seconds. We notified ATC. Encountered another cell within 10 mins as we tried to navigation through this area. Second incident; an updraft took us 1000 ft up in less than 5 seconds. Both events decoupled the autoplt. We cleared the area and no other incidents of severe WX were encountered. Postflt revealed some minor nose cone damage from small hail.
