Narrative:
Normal takeoff. Captain flying. At approximately 60 KTS got primary EICAS: 'left generator drive.' captain idented EICAS message and immediately aborted takeoff; possibly got to 65 KTS; low speed abort. Followed abort procedures notified tower and flight attendants. Taxied off active runway onto taxiway then contacted maintenance and spoke with dispatch. Returned to gate. Maintenance svced left idg with fluid. Mechanic said; 'it seemed to take a lot of fluid;' as if that was most likely the problem. Maintenance cleared item; got new dispatch release; and took off without further incident.

Narrative: NORMAL TKOF. CAPT FLYING. AT APPROX 60 KTS GOT PRIMARY EICAS: 'L GENERATOR DRIVE.' CAPT IDENTED EICAS MESSAGE AND IMMEDIATELY ABORTED TKOF; POSSIBLY GOT TO 65 KTS; LOW SPD ABORT.
