Narrative:

I was on a maintenance hop climbing through FL226 when loss of boost occurred on the right engine. I informed ATC of my problem; requested to return to cos and descend. I was told to hold FL220. I informed ATC that I was unable to hold altitude. They turned an airliner away from me. I called den approach when I landed. They informed me that they had no 'heartburn;' they were required to file some sort of report; and for me to fill out a NASA form. I thought ATC should have vectored me away from the other aircraft.
