Incorrectly assigned windshield re-torque time/flight limits on MEL. Aircraft over-flew time/flight limit for re-torque of windshield fasteners. Notified of mistake at XA00 on jul/sun/06. Contributing factors: I had never MEL'ed in this category (rsi) before. 2) was filling-in in the position (lead man) that day.

Title: A DHC-8-200 CAPT'S AND FO'S WINDSHIELDS WERE REPLACED AND HAD A REQUIRED FASTENER RETORQUE TIME LIMIT; AIRPLANE OPERATED BEYOND TIME LIMITS.
Narrative: INCORRECTLY ASSIGNED WINDSHIELD RE-TORQUE TIME/FLT LIMITS ON MEL. ACFT OVER-FLEW TIME/FLT LIMIT FOR RE-TORQUE OF WINDSHIELD FASTENERS. NOTIFIED OF MISTAKE AT XA00 ON JUL/SUN/06.
