Narrative:
In business galley area; heard loud thud; aircraft swayed. #2 flight attendant contacted cockpit. She reported the engine sputtered. Cockpit called back stating we should be able to land without incident. We landed without incident. After landing; a passenger told another flight attendant he saw sparks and a flame come out of engine. Supplemental information from acn 706739: emergency vehicles.

Narrative: IN BUSINESS GALLEY AREA; HEARD LOUD THUD; ACFT SWAYED. #2 FLT ATTENDANT CONTACTED COCKPIT. SHE RPTED THE ENG SPUTTERED. COCKPIT CALLED BACK STATING WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO LAND WITHOUT INCIDENT. WE LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AFTER LNDG; A PAX TOLD ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT HE SAW SPARKS AND A FLAME COME OUT OF ENG.
